how about the chevy camaro that beat all the super cars in the nev open road race
now it was a tube frame hot rod but street legal
and did the 100 miles at 200 mph

is that a super car ?

I saw a list somewhere of the top 100 Supercars. I don't think there have been 100 cars that qualify by my criteria.

I read somewhere that the Carrera GT's performance can now be had in a 911 based car, think it was the GT2, could have been the GT3 or Turbo 911 though. And the 911 based cars are not supercars unless perhaps transformed by Ruf?

It's a moving target, but once crowned the title stays.

It is the GT2. They come with more power than the CGT had, 650ish vs 600ish.
