Very cool views from on top of the Freedom Tower....
Time magazine mounted high def cameras on top of the spire... 1776 feet above Manhattan I don't know how to directly link the panable feature..... but scroll down to the Gigapan and go fullscreen

I just finished reading the whole article... I know a few of the people mentioned... have worked with them in the past
Besides the awesome pan of Manhattan this vid in the article is a bit moving Click the vid "The Climb" I just removed a redundant link.. FWIW I have worked on almost every suspension bridge that you can see while panning.... Those bridges have kept me employed for 32 years...

And BTW at around 11:40 in "The Climb" short.... an Ironworker climbs just a bit higher to disconnect the rigging

Tim,
I can see where my shop is, a few blocks from the Domino building. Home is on the horizon. God, I loved the twin towers. They were home to my company for years, we had the requirements contracts for sprinkler, plumbing and HVAC.
