Trading Small Caps...

Tell me your success stories, strategies and lessons learned along the way!

I bought some small caps and sold them when they were large caps.

It is easy.

By low sell high.

I seem to remember about 12 years ago or so I bought a mutual fund that specialized in small caps. I did okay and sold it. As with everything else I do if I have to pay somebody to do something coz they can do it better than me so be it. :) G.

Ding, ding, ding.

Minimize your risk, buy a low cost small cap index fund or ETF, or a small cap value fund/etf and small cap growth fund/etf.

Consider your goals first. Are you looking for short term speculative gains and the possibility of a big score or long term appreciation with less risk?

I played small cap individual stocks and got out with a small profit after realizing how much price manipulation goes on there. I now have a presence in SC index funds and just let them do their thing over time without mucking things up by actively chasing returns.

Well, didn't get the big push I was expecting last week. I am up a little over 100% though. Due to news release this weekend, should have the big push this week. I am in no way a pumper, but if you have a few extra Benji's to play with, PM me and I will give you a heads up on the stock. Should start trading up today. Do you own due diligence... This offer is good till 8am CST today...

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. I still maintain a small stake in the company, I had to do the conservative thing and pull out prematurely in order to take guaranteed profits in order to grow my account.

I say prematurely because a major press release and financials are due out today. I believe that the stock has anywhere between 50-150% returns left in it today and possibly more over the middle of next week. It all depends on how good the press release is. If you are interested in getting in this morning PM me and I will give you the ticker symbol and webpage where you can do some quick due diligence. All I ask in return is a steak dinner and cold beer if we ever meet up and maybe come back here and tell me how you did! I will be logging off here in about an hour.
