Mazda cx-5

Anyone have one of these? How do you like it. I'm looking at the grand touring model with the 2.5 engine with awd.

I have nothing to bad to say about any Mazda I've owned.

I have a CX-9 with 37k miles on it, owned it for about two years now. Good car, reliable, rides very well.

Only gripe I have is the paint seems to mark up and scratch pretty easily. Otherwise it's a great car.

We've got a 2012 CX-9 as well, 22k on it with no issues. This is my 3rd Mazda - I expect another 200k out of it, just like the last 2.

We had a CX-9, too. No complaints from me, it was a great car. I'm still pissed at my wife for trading it in on a minivan...

Yup. Currently own a 2013 Mazda5, fantastic little car. It's Mazda #4 for us, we were deciding between a Mazda5 and CX9.

Yeah like when your 10 yr and his buddies decide to do you a favor and wash the cars which are filthy with our typical Dallas crud and the hose out front is not hooked up so they put about two cups of water in a bucket and think that's enough water to start washing the cars with when in reality all they did was turn the sponges into 20 grit sandpaper.

I swear I heard the paint scream from inside the house.:(

Don't get me started on the time he used the hose to "wash the muffler".

Suffice it to say an exhaust system holds a lot of water.

Just came back from the Mazda Dealership for my GF Mazda 3 2008 .. Bad news.. The tranny is leaking and whining, means a new tranny... $6K.. at 50K miles! :( No more Zoom-zoom in this house...

Between my wife's little sisters there is a 1st gen Mazda3, a 2nd gen Mazda3, and a 1st gen Mazda6. Despite teenage neglect they are all still going strong. Sorry about your luck Oracle, I guess everybody builds the occasional lemon.

Most underrated brand on the market....On my 4th Mazda Pickup, had 2 of the cars. The 1st car was a 1200 sedan back during the first "oil crisis" in the early '70's........

great cars, 100 percent reliable and these new ones have some cool eco technology on the engines. Nice looking car, we had a new mx5 and it was great car.

There achilies heel is the body work, hopefully the newest ones are better, our 4 year old mazda had a lot of rust spotting and the paint work does mark easily. Dont let that put you off the uk is pretty wet and great for rust!

More fun than the CRX, less fun than the X1.

I was checking those out when I bought my Speed3. I really liked it. Have had a Mazda 3 and a Speed 3. Mom had a 626 for many years and now a 6. No problems, except for stupidity induced :--)

I'm starting to shop for a replacement for my Explorer. I was pretty set on a Subaru but after seeing the gas mileage on the CX-5 I'm considering one also.

i was surprised to discover that this vehicle is the first with an interior that i actually like the looks of besides much more expensive vehicles. it looks bmw-ish to me.

whether it feels the same i dont know as i have not looked at one in person yet. the pictures are quite impressive though. online reviews seem to be mostly positive with some random horror stories like any other vehicle

I can hook you up with Mazda in the bay area if you want.
