It's our birthday!

We are both 4!

My Bodi, on the left, and Geo, on the right, are brothers but they are night and day in terms of temperment. Bodi is fairly calm and is quite obedient whereas Geo is 100% energy....go-go-go...can't sit still! His owner Kate, as you can see, had to restrain him from pouncing on his liver-pate cake so that we could get some pics in!

Bodi is our first dog. I was just wondering if you guys have seen the same thing....siblings of dogs you've owned that are so different in terms of behaviour even though their upbringing has been similar?

Cheers!

Alex

These 2 are 10 now...

Enzo (L) and Cammie (R) are different in attitude, but the same in energy. Enzo is less willing to come the 1st time called, yet is more adverse to being punished. Cammie is more obedient and can take a smack and a reprimand easily. Enzo is more focused when retrieving ( and usually finds downed birds 60% of the time to Cammie's 40%)...but Cam will find the birds 1st. They are a perfect compliment to each other, and I don't know if it is environment or the way they are wired. They still beat hell outta the front door every night I come home. I usually have a repaint 1x a year. Good lookin birthday hounds! Cheers!

A good looking pair of brothers you have there lowyder993s! It sounds like, come birding season, that they do an honest day's work! We are not hunters, alas, but we do keep Bodi pretty active. But I'm sure, given the opportunity, that he would take to it and enjoy the adventure......ah, maybe someday soon?

Cheers!
