AM Radio
Hello Everyone, SmileWavy
Can you tell me what is the best way to pull in AM radio? My Mom likes to listen to AM but living next to a hill does help the reception. Any ideas? Thanks. :p |

You can totally geek out on antenna design.... Trust me! How far away are the stations she likes to listen to? Does she have room for an outdoor antenna? Are you willing to put up an outdoor antenna?

Around my house, I have a couple of antennas but I usually use this little gem. If you have a stereo RCA to 3.5mm output you can play anything.

Most radios are really optimized for FM of tapes/CDs. Buy her one of these for a gift--they are amazing for AM and will pull in weak signals:
