He soulds like he is where he needs to be. Now he is convicted he claims he is a "changed man." He is right, he is now a convicted felon. That changes him.

My dad had one of his books on natural cures that was full of crap.

I remember seeing that guy on TV several times over the years, but hawking different solutions (book form) for a variety of 'problems'. The one thing I recall is he promised to reveal what these 'hidden' secrets were both in the itch and in his books but the actual reveal never happened. It looked and sounded as if he gave you the answer but just general BS and common knowledge. Sometimes referring the buyers to other business ventures of his for the final 'answer'

There's some astronomical figures quoted in that article so he got what he deserved.

But how many people out there tell untruths to make money?

What was once told to me from a very wise man: There are LOTS of things you can market and sell as an individual. The number 1 easiest to execute, replicate and the most profitable? Information.

Worked for a company that he flew with. He was a "snake oil salesman" to the core. Very nice in person but you could tell that you needed to keep your hand on your wallet when he was around...

I don't get it. He sold us BS. So? Half those. "As seen on TV" mofos should be locked up too.

There are three issues:
1). The person and public view of his moral character.

2). The right for an 'author' to use media in publishing 'non-certified' health 'alternatives'.

3). The judicial sentencing in relationship to personal gains.
