OK so he does have an attitude. Terrible Ted was a punk but back then they didn't whine about it. It was just part of the game. In baseball, Ty Cobb was revered and hatted at the same time. We won't even go down the Dennis Rodman trail.

Agitators do what they do with calculated pre-meditation. They are professional at being the guy everyone loves to hate. They consider it an art form as much as a goal scorer. They only ones that don't think they are punks are the the team and fans they play for. They have a purpose just like a henchman to protect the star players. Are they jerks? Yup.

The beauty of Nose-face is that unlike most agitators, he is also a goal scorer. You can't ignore him.

I suspect there are at least three teams in the West that are better than Boston.

It's much easier to rack up points in the East.

Boston is the best in the East, I don't think they are the best in the league.

You will note that I'm not talking about clearing a spot for the cup just yet. No doubt the Blues are a serious contender. IMO there isn't another team that is close. Boston and St Louis are tied for +74 game diff and the next closest in 23 point less. Is the East easier? Maybe but the B's have depth in offense and defense. The Pens were looking strong but the IR list is killing them (pardon the pun). If the B's stay healthy and Rask stays on his A game we are in for a fun payoff season.

The Hawks play the Blues tonight. That should be a no holds barred playoff level game.

Because being a douche and the guy everyone loves to hate is what agitators are supposed to do. You spend more time angry at the agitator than focused on the game. I believe only five players have more goals than Iggy since 2010-2011. He hasn't exactly quit scoring.
