Nice to see Google remembering Ayrton Senna

Logged on to Google to check something out and see they are honoring Aryton Senna's birthday

For us older guys who remember him I just thought it was nice to see.
Sadly enough I was watching the race and can remember the crash like it was yesterday.

'Senna'. The movie. The best movie at this point in time.

Must watch.

Yeah that is/was a great film. Back in the day, I was always sorta against him...deemed him a dangerous hot head. But now I acknowledge my wrongs. He was the real deal. A talented force that went against the grain; the silly politics that was...that is, F1. Live and learn.

Sweet Savage...

Before that movie, almost no one heard of that name, including Google workers.

You mean Swede Savage?

Watching that in-car footage of him qualifying at Monaco, pushing that 1000HP+ car with little or no electronic 'nannys' to help...WOW...superhuman, just on another level.

Not a fan as I was in the prost camp but boy could he drive especially in the rain

Finally watched the movie/documentary... Forgot how good he was and how much politics were in place back then (and now)....

Watching 'Senna' on Netflix, or clips of him on YOUTUBE...simply on another level entirely than anyone else.

Had he lived, he would have been the first driver to surpass Fangio in championships.

I too was an A. Prost fan back then.

If your burned out of spectating racing on TV, I highly recommend finding some Senna era races on Y-tube. The battles in the rain are amazing.

Seems only like yesterday he was among us. Back when, love or hate I don't think many understood him. I'll admit I was a big fan, especially his rivalry with Prof. Prost, yet I hated what I thought was his huge ego. Boy, was I wrong about that. Senna was the real deal and one of the best of the best.

Back then the talent was the driver and the races were far more interesting as there were so many styles and personalities. I remember watching one of the Monaco videos with the sensors attached to him and his hear rate stayed up around 190bpm.

He did have a huge ego but could mostly back it up.
