OBIHAI - Google Voice users
I know that we have a few OBIHAI - Google Voice users on PPOT.
The time is getting near (May 15th) when Google will be discontinuing XMMP based calling with Google Voice. This will effectively render using an OBIHAI device directly with GV useless without signing up with another SIP provider. I am weighing what I am going to do. What are your plans for moving forward? Can you repeat that in English?

I have no idea what that all means, but am interested since I use GV for one of my business lines. Can you translate your l33tsp33k for us keyboard drones?

Google Voice gives you a number with area code of your choosing that you can set to ring on any of your current landline or cell phones. Does voicemail that also sends texts / emails of the voicemails. You can use it to make outgoing calls as well. It's all free.
OBIHAI is a device that lets you integrate it directly into your home phone system similar to other VOIP products. The device runs $30-$50. Google is shutting down the way OBIHAI communicates with google voice. |
That makes me think of this song:
