Well he shot her...that's not disputed. Motive is the question. But why would you shoot through your bathroom door without announcing a warning? And if there was a warning, the gf would have said something. I think there was a fight, she was hiding and he killed her

He knew it was her in the bathroom. If he thought there was an intruder in the place the first thing he would do is check to see if his GF is OK. If she is not right next to him sleeping, the chances are that must be her in the bathroom so he would ask if that is her in there.

Even if it was a robber in your bathroom and you ventilated him through the wall, it would be murder. You can leave the fking house and call 911. His defense makes zero sense, it's a waste of breath.

This is one of the most tragically stupid things I've ever heard of. They may have had a fight, he went off the deep end, she hid in the bathroom, he shot her.

What was this man thinking would happen? Either he is a complete moron or he was so desperate to have her dead he does not care. A third reason would be that he has a totally uncontrollable temper. In the first case he is just still a moron really surprised nobody Believes his lame explanation. In the second case she would have to be such a nightmare its on a World record level. In the third case, this guy must be dying from remorse and guilt. Either way its murder alright.

He was know to have a phenomenally bad/quick temper. Athletes performance enhancing drugs can have this affect.

He is an absolute psychopath.

What Bill said. I mentioned this in the other thread already. Roid rage. Nobody in their right mind would shoot through a closed door if the other side wasn't trying to open / push it in violently. I feel sorry for the beautiful girl. Definitely hung out with the wrong guy.

I haven't followed this very closely so my comments are based on only what we hear on NA news channels...but from my perspective I agree with Bill.

Apparently the two "lovers" had exchanged thousands of txt messages about the issues in their relationship.
A lot of those were her pleading for him to stop his aggressive and controlling behavior.

If he was was ever planning to kill her he's a complete idiot.

What I don't get is that he now has a new GF who is just gorgeous.

Here's my take - they have an argument, she goes to the bathroom to use the toilet, he fires a shot through the door to make his point, thinking she is sitting on the crapper. Instead she is standing up behind the door and the bullet hits her in the hip. She is now screaming and he freaks out not knowing what to do but needs her to quit the noise and fires three more shots and the noise stops. Very sad.

Why do I get flashbacks of the 'oj' thing & think this pr1ck will walk - probably not the greatest choice of words.

As there is no jury there is less chance of indecision. Hopefully no OJ decision but a resolute guilty as called by the judge.
