Finished first Tough Mudder Sunday.....

and was sore as hell yesterday! Feeling much better today.

Feeling after finishing was euphoria.:D
Feeling the next day was "why did I do It?"
Feeling on the 3rd day is "looking forward to the next one!"

I had done a Spartan sprint race before, and this was harder. 20 obstacles in 11.5 miles. Our team of 4 (2 43 yr old males, 1 43 yr old female, and 1 18 yr old male) finished in just under 3 hours.

Any other Tough Mudders on here?

I've been debating the Chicago one. Sounds like you had a good time.

Very cool! They are on my "fun/awesome/hard things to do list" but I haven't done one yet.

Any post-race mud covered cool pics of your team? Would LOVE to see them!

Next you need to do a Ragnar, or Ragnar trail! :D.

I'm not a runner, but I'm a driver for a Ragnar team, it's a lot of fun. :)

Congrats!

I'm about to do my third Mudder event. They now have a "legionaire's loop" for folks who have run consecutive events and we actually have the option to skip the shock therapy obstacle. I'm pretty sure I'll do it anyway.

I have done Spartans, Warriors, USMC runs and all the rest but the TM runs are the only ones that truly kick my butt. (BTW I'm 52)

Sounds to me like you've already committed to your second!

This was the third mudder for the girl in the picture and she did the legionaires loop. She was the first to register for the next TM. She's truly addicted!

Sounds like you are too! And good for you doing these at 52. I plan on losing at least another 10 lbs for the next one.

Mudder runners..........

My son does these along with his girlfriend and a couple of buddies. The first one that they did was in the winter and they just about froze! I guess everyone needs a hobby! If I need to go that far, that fast, I get in the truck!
