Pittsburgh to Hershey swap meet help please?
Need a little help from the p community if possible? Actually its the reverse trip where I need the help.
I would like to get my 73.5 very empty and dry gas tank to Moyer Fuel Tank Renu in Greensburg, PA 15601. Ordinarily I would ship the part, but being a 73.5 tank I don't want to risk any damage or worse, loss even if it is insured to the nines. Wondering if someone coming to Hershey from the Pittsburgh area for the meet on Saturday (4.19) would be willing to take it and drop it off to Moyers? I'll buy lunch. I'll be willing to pay someone out of pocket expenses for the detour, although Moyer probably will not be open until the Monday after the swap meet. I can speak to Jim and see if there is a secure place it can be left Saturday or Sunday, but would rather a face to face drop off to eliminate any possible confusion later. As it turns out I have a business project out near there in mid-May so I'm hoping if I get the tank to Moyer right after the swap meet they'll have it done in time for me to pick it up when I'm out there in May.
