Saw Craigster today
Ran into him at the local supermarket. He now lives about a mile from me.
We agreed that we should go skeet shooting again at Oak Tree Gun Club, We agreed that we should come to his place for dinner, We agreed that he and his G/F should come to my house for a BBQ and a swim this Summer. We agreed that we wouldn't talk "Shop" too much, he and I are both in the movie industry in Hollywood. I met Craig through this venue. Great guy and a local friend. It turns out we have a lot of professional/industry friends. SmileWavy |
Craigster is a total non-poopyhead.

Nice, but is that your way of saying I might be one? BTW, I'm considering your totally pimped out Caribbean Cruise with my trophy wife of 30 years.

That boat trip is really fun. Very different experience from a regular "cruise." Better food, better destinations, questionable traveling companions.

craigster is a good guy!

Thanks guys! It was great seeing you Hugh, but one thing was missing. Neither of us had a beer in our hand! We definitely need to get together soon, whether skeet shooting, dinner or knocking back some cold ones.
I know you've been busy with pilot season, but now that shows are going on hiatus we could always find time for lunch. Maybe hit up the Tally Rand. Let me know, I've still got your number (I think). |
IIRC I was checking out with a 12 pack! Does that count?

I'd love to shoot w you guys one day. Representing NorCal. I'll bring sunscreen. And a hat.

Hey Hugh
I was in LA Mon-Fri of last week but I couldn't squeeze time to divert to catch up with you. Next time. We were all over town driving a boaty Highlander. The traffic was fun. Thanks for the nice weather for a week! Ian |
Hugh and Craigster should get together and start their own reality show where they are on a continuous road trip. I bet it would be a blast. They could stop and meet up with Pelicans from town to town. Sort of like a modern day Odd Couple :)

I know summer is just around the corner, some of you Pelicans have suffered a brutal winter and could use a little California sunshine. If you do make it out, by all means post your plans and maybe between Hugh and I, we can give you a little "Inside Hollywood" experience besides dropping a few Benjamins on the Universal Studios tour. Heck, even a good German lunch at The Red Lion in Silverlake is a blast!SmileWavy |
