I have a very bad temper; always have. Over the years, I learned to keep it in check.

I have a heavy bag hanging on my back patio that I take my anger out on. Great stress relief, and really good exercise.

My dad had a short temper. I vowed not to be like him. I'm so mellow I'm almost comatose.

My Anger Managment classes are pissing me off!

+1 on every single word.

Believe it or not, I haven't lost my temper in many, many years.
I've gotten a little pissed a few times, but to totally fly off the handle?
Nope.

Maybe some folks keep it all bottled up inside trying to be PC all the time and they eventually 'splode!!!

I hardly ever get truly angry any more. Ironically the only time I get really mad is at stuck fasteners, twisted off bolts, and mechanical things.

Now that I am approaching 40. I have found it much easier to control some things I always knew were wrong: anger, temper, talking about people (gossip), "hating" anything or anyone, being judgmental

I think the best way to act is pretty much the exact opposite of the parf forum here :)

I have my fair share of faults still, but I have made some improvements on theses things in my old age.

I have a very bad temper, better controlled than in the days of my youth. Not too many are aware of it, but those that are, are painfully aware of it. Most don't believe it when I tell them I have quite a temper.

I would be lying if I said that I did not act like this sometimes. I am getting better with age. I am an auto mechanic, and my job can be highly frustrating at times.

I find a bad temper a sign of weakness.

But that's just my opinion.

Agreed. It takes more strength to control ones temper. I also submission ground grapple 5 x per week so I'm no stranger to physical confrontation. Getting mad means squat.
