ISP recommendations?
 

I am looking for a change in providers for my home laptop. Any stories as to the good, bad, or otherwise that anyone cares to share?

I is tough to give advice when you leave the question so wide open.

Living in Vancouver you should have many choices. How much speed do you "need" and how much volume? Do you download movies a lot or just need light email?

I have been with a local cable company (Cox Cable) for over 30 years. They have fast internet connection and I have the same email address since the 90s. If I change providers I would have to change email addresses.

I have a few friends that have jumped off to AT&T and after everything settled down it was the same speed or slower for the same basic money. One friend changed to Dish and just has a different company to hate.
