2015 Mustang, brake line lock, from the factory.

Yaowa. A bit surprised the legal department signed off on this feature!

line lock with a car on radials- pointless. Try that with Bias Ply slicks and watch the warranty claims get denied.

Yep, right from the link: "And it also comes with a legalese Catch 22.

Ford says it’s only intended for use at racetracks – so no hijinks in the High School parking lot -- but points out that you’ll void your warranty if you race your car."

say what you want, but ford knows the mustang's apeal.

a local autocrosser here has an old IROC with a front brake lock, its awesome.

Technically any damage that can be traced back to abuse (aka smoky burnouts) will void your warranty. Electronics just make it easier to place blame.

Either way, I think it's awesome. Ford is doing a great job of embracing car enthusiasts, and I think the 2015 Mustang looks like a fantastic car.

Ford is telling you, "If you use this feature as intended it will void your warranty." Bizarre.
