Maybe the dog's name is Wayne Carini.

Wow, I'm left dumbfounded. Great taste in vehicles too. Ha, even a few Brit bikes on the wall.

I saw a TZ2 on the road once. It must have been his. There can't be that many in LA.

Thanks for posting. I remember Meyer for the famous Meyer Manx dune buggy, way back when.

It seems he has done well. :)

How many opportunities do you have to get a picture with Steve McQueen and the dog ruins the shot.

techweenie 04-25-2014 03:18 PM

That old pic looks like Bruce drove to McQueen's house on Victoria Point in Malibu.

BTW, Bruce just bought an RS clone that was up for sale here on Pelican.

That was unfortunate.

The Porsche 935 in the collection has certainly had an interesting history. Meyer must have purchased it from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation after it won the lawsuit with Reg Whittington in 2010.

As a tangent, I saw Bruce Meyers on the Chip Foose Hot Rod series that aired a few years ago. Bruce presented as a very cool, passionate dude.
