"EARTH FIRST! We'll strip mine the other planets later."

You used the word "we" twice. Evidently you are one of the people doing the strip-mining, I am not. Stop it.

Don't you realize that if you strip off the top .000001% of the earth's depth over 0000000001% of the total surface, tree huggers will cry for no reason?

That situation seemed pretty cut-n-dry. (no pun intended)

Another death of a prominent environmentalist had much more suspicious circumstances:

According to the police report Bastian shot Kelly dead in her sleep with his old service weapon and afterwards killed himself. No accurate time of death could be determined because of the delay in finding the corpses. He was buried in a north Munich cemetery. '

I watered my garden and looked at the 1/2 acre of native prairie I sowed last fall. I'm not a nut, but I live in an area of 2 acre lawns. They seem so sterile to me. My neighbors think my prairie is a weed patch, but I spend a LOT less time maintaining it, and I love the variety of wildlife it harbors.
