Recognition for a PPOTF poster
 

I don't post often but I noticed the members here prone to giving accolades to other members accomplishments. Only Cafe "Dave" made the news on a very well respected site & one of my favorites. It can be very useful on road trips. Nice job Dave.

i would be really happy to meet any of the forum members here, over the years i've met a few, widgeon stopped in some years ago. i met fastpat on the dragon. met up with a couple at hershey and lime rock too.
more would be better. open invitation to all, even the members of the banned.

the most pertinent information about my time spent with dawn wells is that it was not enough time. she is a very lovely woman.
my sister was working for the company that makes malibu rum, they were having a promotion involving dawn. a series of "three hour tours with mary ann" on a boat. one in rhode island, one in the hamptons, and one in atlantic city. she arranged for me to be dawn's security/companion for the cruises. great work, if you can get it. we had some terrific chats about food, the world, and tv shows, etc. did i already say what a lovely woman she is?

about three months later i received a telephone call from her, and she asked me if i could get out to los angeles she would love to show me the town. here is the part that makes me the stupidest sob around. i said that at that time it would not be possible for me to go. and i never heard from her again.
the line to kick me in the ass for sheer stupidity forms to the right.

Yep consider yourself kicked. A total honey invites you to LA... "naw, I gotta do my laundry this week." She was gonna show you the "sights" alright. :cool:
