"Porsche will start Saturday’s FIA WEC Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps from the pole following a thrilling damp-turned-dry qualifying session at the legendary Belgian circuit.

Marc Lieb claimed pole in the closing seconds of the 30-minute session, after climbing back behind the wheel of the No. 14 Porsche 919 Hybrid and improving on his two initial qualifying laps set early in changing conditions."

A hybrid?

Pretty sure I could live with a P1, 918 Spyder, or a LaFerrari.

Yea, if I HAD to.....

Sometimes ya gotta make compromises in life....

Wonderful problem to have...to be able to afford a 918.

I have yet to see another manufacturer make a hybrid like the 918 or 919. As we all know with Porsche's history in racing, the tech they use on the track does make it into production cars. I'm pretty sure we can look at a turbo 4/6cyl 911 hybrid in the future.
