That guy just oozes cool. Ever go to the Schooner Wharf Bar down there? He plays pretty regularly there. It's probably one of my favorite places on earth - sit outside in the sand watching sailboats come and go and the palm trees sway under the sunshine while enjoying a cold beer and good music and feeling all your cares just melt away. Pure heaven to me.

A good friend of mine is a part-time bartender there so I get to visit on occasion (tends bar at a few other venues on the island too). Last time I picked up four of MMC's CDs for $25. Still listen to them on occasion. Talk about a guy who figured out how to do life right!

Yup ...great bar ... And who is the grey bearded dude there, who makes the cigars ?

I saw him just a couple months ago. He is a very cool cat. My parents winter in the keys, and a stop at Schooner Warf is a must when were in KW.

How do the cigars Eric makes compare to Cubans ?

Ugh, been going schooners too long. Lately there were 20 minute pauses between songs, prices up, service down.

Lately we go around the corner for seafood/apps/happy hour at Conch Republic/Alonzos/Boathouse.

For some great music, look for 'The Doerfels' next time in town.
