Oh well. I'm sure they will make money on it. Money they will spend on cool stuff like the 919 project...

Given that I see as many Cayennes on the roads as every other Porsche model combined, they'll probably sell a sheiss-load of 'em.

in 6 or 7 years I've maybe seen a handful of X6's on the road. I'm surprised BMW even sells any of those.

So it's a less practical version of a midsized SUV, which is a less practical version of a wagon. Perfect!

Scottsdale will be thick with the ugly ducklings within a year...

Doesn't a coupe usually have two doors, not four?

I have seen a number of the X6s around. The Mercedes MLC is under development and is just as fugly as the BMW:

Marketing departments have completely highjacked the term "coupe" to the point where it applies to anything that doesnt COMFORTABLY seat four adults. :rolleyes:

My neighbor has an X6. I love the lines of the car, but it's pretty expensive for a basically useless vehicle. The slope of the rear hatch means you can carry basically nothing more than you can get in a regular sedan trunk. He has found it to be terrible in snow despite the AWD. He can't get it up his driveway sometimes in the winter. Otherwise good looking car.

The ONLY vehicle that can get away with that look is the Local Motors Rally Fighter.
