The"inherited an RV" blues

Long story, but this thing is blighting my driveway. Now it could be yours. And it's already in Alaska! think of all the time and gas you'd save on your dream vacation.

varmint 05-05-2014 07:18 PM

I think the best way to make this thing your friend is to rent it out.

Take out the generator (noise abatement), yank the plug wires, run an extension cord into your garage, hook up a sewage line into your home system, put a TV in it, and ask about $675 a month for the privilege of being your neighbor.

For an extra $100, you can rent out a Vespa or snowshoes, whichever is in season.

varmint 05-05-2014 07:30 PM

have already listened to suggestions about renting it out to the seasonal cannery workers.

don't want the sort of people who would live in a RV on my property.

Nostril Cheese 05-05-2014 07:52 PM

Rent it to people attending Burning Man. Instant moneymaker.

I was just kidding, bro. :D

Or, in the spirit of your OP, you could open it up to "just Pelicans" like for a week or two at a time... aka "your dream vacation."

varmint 05-05-2014 09:33 PM

there's a limited window to sell this thing. but not many locals around with cash right now.

every summer this area, the Kenai peninsula, is overwhelmed with RVers on once in a lifetime dream vacations. figure my best bet is to attract one of them.

Any pelican is welcome to put up a tent in my back yard. But if you want something more bear resistant I'd reccomend buying the RV.

Too Funny! My friend bought one of these brand new - with the Ford V-10. He refers to it as the "Fossil Fuel Eliminator" - LOL...

Why are you so eager to get rid of it? Is there something wrong with it? Or you just won't use it?

Pelican vacation spot gets my vote!

HardDrive 05-06-2014 11:13 AM

If its not sold, would you rent it to me for the week of 4th of July?

MBAtarga 05-06-2014 12:44 PM

I will take it. Let me send you a check for $20k and I will have my shipper show up to remove it. You just need to keep a few extra $k for yourself above your asking price - for the trouble - and my shipper will collect a cashiers check from you for the balance of $18k.

varmint 05-06-2014 04:22 PM

it's sold.

i've hated RVs since i was little. rolling abortions.

vash 05-06-2014 07:05 PM
