Wow, This could have been nasty
Sarah Harris, TV host (I don't know who she is) nearly shot herself with nail gun on live TV.
What kind of silly game was this about.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1399671550.jpg |
Did it actually fire? The gun is either modified or broken if it fired like that, it should have to be pressed to wood to actuate. From what you can see in the picture the surface safey looks to be in place making it pretty hard to pull off anything but a contact firing.

Stupid move for sure, but the unit was not even loaded so it could have been much much dumber
|
Why would you ever let yourself be blindfolded around a chick with a nail gun?
|
Don't you know you don't mess with a woman when she's doing her nails?

Relax her finger isn't on the trigger. If that's a paslode gun you have to push it down pretty hard to make it fire.
|
Loaded or not, able to fire or not, nobody should have let her pick one of those nailers up as if it was a toy! Right?
Producer must be an idiot. |
I own a couple of those Paslode guns. The safety has to be pressed, like Gordner said, which is at the tip of the gun and the clip is all the way up so there's no nails in the gun.
|
Its TV, I am sure if she didn't know which way the nail gun fires, wouldn't you think she asked?
|
I think we should petition the government to ban all assault nail guns before a TV host gets hurt!

More evidence that civilisation is going in reverse.......

Those two ladies need to stick to cooking, and not mess with power tools.

oh, wait, you were serious. it wouldn't surprise me one bit for most folks to pick a nail gun up without asking how they work or if it's dangerous. |
