I used to use GoJo for cleanup but now am a nitrile glove guy. For hand care in the cold, busting them up with yard work (inside of leather gloves), I use bag balm. Does wonders on chipped / dry hands.

Put some on and cover it in plastic or latex gloves. In a few hours, you will have smooth, pussy hands. I wear latex gloves for half a day with bag balm. For my feet, I put some on my heel and wear a pair of socks and go to bed.

I wear nitrile gloves mostly. But the new hand cleaners out there with walnut shells in them are damn good. I've seen some in truck stops that were gojo brand. Works very well and leaves your hands silky smooth.

+1 on walnut shell products. A buddy of mine 15 years ago worked at a car dealership as a mechanic. I'd go there to wrench with him on Saturdays. Their bulk hand cleaner was out of this world and based on walnut shells. I could not find it retail at that time and forgot what it was called.

I use odorless paint thinner to get the really oily, black, stuff of my fingers. seems to work fine, followed by dish soap.

Please report back, Sid. Pumice, walnut and petroleum based fail me. Medicated hand cleaners are ok, but I have ointment once all is done for that. The only one I can recall that was nearly as effective is Worx, but it is no longer king.
