What kind of spider is this?
It was in a pile of wood posts that I was moving. There were actually 2, and the smaller one was really aggressive, raising it's front legs and ran toward me. Then a wolf spider jumped out and ran toward me. I decided that the posts were just fine where they were.

Wind Scorpion. Generally harmless, but they can bite if provoked.

It's a Solpugid. I was interested in all kinds of critters as a kid... read books with lots of pictures.

yeah, those things were posturing A HELL OF A LOT! The little one was beating the ground with it's front pincher leg thingeymabobs. And the big one was sticking it's ass end up in the air like it was going to squirt web at me.
