DDD was interesting for a few episodes... but same dam show over and over with different people... BORING! Guy pulls up to funky restaurant in super cool car... guy goes to the kitchen and freaks out over common ingredients... IS THAT SALT YOU ARE USING? OH WOW DUDE!!!! Interview a few patrons who always gush about how great the food is... show done, repeat as needed.

I like AB for a while... but food network has overexposed him... plus he is just too farking anal... cooking is an art, you don't have to measure everything out to the minute particle and time it to a fraction of a second... and if you watch the show long enough (I used to DVR it) he outright contradicts himself over time. He does seem like a cool dude thou.

Hey, we have that rule as well.

I love that concept. We shall adopt it as well. Thanks!

I have eaten at a few, using this (Search).

I love a good breakfast.

That breakfast plate above looks lie a one way ticket to type-II diabetes-ville.

It's a pancake stuffed with fresh fruit and granola covered in yogurt. Can't be too bad for ya.

My take on his anal nature is that he just wants to explain the scientific interaction of the ingredients, which by nature, needs to be pretty precise. That level of precision is obviously not needed in real life, but it's interesting to see. Interesting to me. Plus, I like the theatrics and the trips to the kitchen supply store.

Fun show.

Haven't seen Guy.

i like that guy..Guy.

i think he is a good host..been to one of his places. it was very meh.

as far as life goes, the cranked his out of the park. i've only been to one of his recommendations. it is right near my office. Gorilla BBQ. not the best that i have had for sure, but decent.

A few years ago when i traveled A LOT for business, i tried to hit everyplace I could on DDD....never had a bad meal. All the places DDD featured in Cleveland are the good ones.

I'll tell you how good that show is... it's so good that when they are showing the prep and consumption of some of those dishes/items... especially the ones that have a little bit of heat going on... my scalp will begin to sweat.

I've been to 2 of them in Buffalo. Lake Effect Diner (good burgers/shakes)
Mulberry's the best Italian food I've had in a rest. It's located on a residential street.

He's legit... I've been to several places in Seattle and Phoenix that he's visited. Great food! In Phoenix try Matt's Big Breakfast, Barrio Cafe, Los Taquitos...
