They called me several times already, asking if I want a free home security system for free.
Free? Free with an advertise sign in the front yard.
Completely free without any additional cost? Yes sir
So completely free? Do I obligate to get the police service and/or any other service? No sir. You don't have to if you don't want to.
So what is the catch? No catch beside the advertising sign in the front yard.

The system is monitored by the local inmates at a 1/2 way house for prison.

the 'system' is free, so is the install. Oh, but you have a monthly plan of $29 / $49 / $99 pick your number in order to have the thing be anything more than a doorstopper!

Oh yeah and it sends signals to say when you're home or not.

They get to check the inside of your house to appraise valuable stuff. What could possibly go wrong? If it's too good to be true......:eek:G.

You know you can buy the alarm company signs and stickers for the windows on e-bay, right?

$20 one time and you get as much security as you would with one of those services.
If you have signs and the neighbor doesn't the bad guys go next door.

As an added bonus, when the parasites see the signs in your yard they probably won't knock on your door trying to sell you their signs.

If you can't figure out what the product is that is being sold, that product is probably you or your information.....

Don't forget you'll have to pull an alarm permit with the local constabulary.

And, you may need to buy extra window and door sensors - they generally cost between 75 to 90 dollars EACH for those....

Nothing gets by the girls........(as long as you FEED them) they're on call 24-7. :)
