Cheap Durable Water Guns!

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up for the summer! I just made up 5 of these water guns out of schedule 40 PVC in a few hours with not many $$$ worth of stuff. We've been playing with some cheap water guns already this summer and I'm tired of them breaking. I used this instructable Easy $5 Water Guns and it was easy and they seem to work great! I made 2 30" and 3 20" guns. I'll have to put them in the kids hands this week. Only design change I'm going to make is to put a cap on the end of the piston handle so it will hold up and allow them to stay afloat in the pool.

Very cool... greater muzzle velocity with greater "trigger" pressure while working your pecs. Heh heh.

You might want to require googles wit dat... otherwise, I can see eyeballs taking some serious hurt.

haha. We will see John. I drilled a 3/16'' hole in them for now, but one of the longer I went with 5 1/4" holes in a t shape. That one doesn't quite shoot all the way across the pool, but puts out a ton of water! I will have to play with spray patterns to determine the right one.

Are those illegal water spoons, or did you get them registered and pass a background check????
