Reliable auto shipper from San Francisco?

There is a chance my car might be going back to Europe but the buyer is having a hard time locating a shipper that will pick up in San Francisco and deliver to France. The usual shipper he uses is only gets as close as Long Beach.

Doing the regular google search comes up with tons of crap that is proving annoying to wade through...anyone here have a decent source?

Road trip to France? Are you selling an amphibious vehicle?

Anyway, I think the ports for shipping are all down south. When my Tristar was shipped here (SF Bay Area) it went through Port Hueneme near Oxnard. You could call the port of Oakland and ask, though.

I was thinking Brett could drive it down to the port, that would beat paying someone to put it on a truck here and take it down. You know what condition it is in when it gets to the boat too. Ideally, you set it up so you drive it down, and some mug pays you to drive his restored Yugo they bought from Canepa back up to Nor Cal and pays you for the service. Okay, more ideal would be driving the Ferrari Dino back, but you take what you can get.

Is this the 914 or the 968?

I knew what you meant Toby

Hell, if Canapa needs someone to drive one of their 959's back up for LA, I'll happily drive down there!

This would be the 914, no international interest in the 968 but a lot in the 914. Still have both as of today but I'd guess one will be gone by next weekend, just don't know which one will sell first.

Too bad, that 914 is a super clean machine.

Well its not over yet, there is interest in the 968 and I'll for sure keep which ever doesn't sell.

I honestly cannot choose which one I would rather have. Both are awesome in their own ways and both are annoying/worrisome at times too.

The buyer who would ship is sort of an outside shot but better to be prepared.
