North Carolina Pelicans - Rt 226A repaved
My wife and I took the 911 up NC Rt. 226A today, from the bottom at the Rt. 226/ Rt. 226A break all the way up to the Little Switzerland Inn at the top of the ridgeline where it meets the Blue Ridge Parkway. Totally repaved with a new centerline, smooth as glass. This route gets very little traffic. More good news, the Switz has a new terrace overlook!
