First time ever I turned off GOT and surfed for something more entertaining. Half an hour of cutting and slashing is way more than enough. I think it's was 2014 #6. What ever - the first 35 minutes sucked.

I've read the books & really enjoy the series. His last book, A Dance with Dragons, is excellent, no shortage of twists. I'm sure he has already finished the series, but the TV series puts a timeline on the last two books. Tonight's episode is the most expensive yet, probable lots of cutting & slashing.

Granted, last night's episode might have seemed a bit repetitive, but if I"m not mistaken, it's the first time they've spent an entire episode on one storyline.

And fecal matter is definitely going to hit the air distribution device next week. Which is not good for one of my favorite characters.

Bob,
Its about feudal society roughly 800 years in past...ripe with all the nastiness and inhumanity of the day. I think its so popular because it gives so many comfort in knowing that our lives are light years better...

The problem is a completely non-existent story. It's just sword fights now there is no direction.

If you are enjoying it.
It just keeps you wanting more...what's going to happen next?

We are talking about Game of Thrones, right? The show on HBO? Just want to make sure we're on the same page here...

Ya, I gotta say, it's got to be one of the most immersive stories of our time. May not be "it" for everybody, but I loved the books (next one needs to come out now, dammit!), and the wife and I are enjoying the show.

The scull crushing scene was stretching it IMO... After a spear to the chest there is no way a humane being could rise like that and do that sort of damage.
But hey it was shocking and I guess that the point.

BTW, That scene was very close to the book. So I blame you "authors"... lols ;)

Dude.... it's TV....

My wife and I call this show "Boobs and Swords". In all fairness to her, they really should show more male parts...
