Porsche4life,
Like the lights. It's on my list. I'm a one man show, so painting kitchen cabinets comes first.
Are your cables stainless with turn buckels to tighten slack?

Great backyards guys! Giving me some good ideas

Sometimes a yard is a blessing. Sometimes it's a curse.

Yup, Bought some stainless cable and used swages to crimp loops in it and using a turnbuckle to tension it. Seems to work well so far.

I assume they are low voltage...

Bill, that's what KC would look like if you moved it 1600 miles west and a few hundred miles north. AKA central Idaho, McCall area. Our preferred backyard, when not in KC.

Backyard is tiny only wide enough to park a car without blocking our neighbours gate

We don't tend to look at the backyard much :)

Here is a pic of the new backyard. I only have 30' of grass back there to mow. It's a lot different from my old place that was 3 acres or so.

You Montana fellows have it figured out. Those photos were amazing. What a beautiful place!

wdfifteen 06-06-2014 05:39 AM

Wow, some beautiful places here. Here is part of mine.

This place could pass for Switzerland although I suspect it is in the US somewhere?

Here is mine back yard:

This is the Front:

Reality is:

My back yard is fairly small except when it is time to mow it. The only reason I agreed to the house is the oversize 3 car garage with a bathroom in the garage. I really don't care about the back yard. I am only out there to mow it or work. I spend my time in the garage!

The real back yard.

My favorite place in the garage:

city monday to friday...no backyard in the concrete jungle:

country saturday and sunday...backyard is smaller and less interesting than the front and side:

I don't know which is the back from the front. I call the driveway side the "backyard" and my wife calls the lakeside "backyard".

What's the Pelican trust say??

Not in the US, mountains are the Eastern Julian Alps in north western Slovenia (bet you need to Google map that)

Breath taking scenery, best way to describe it is, as a slightly undersized mixture of Yosemite National Park, Austria, Dolomites and Switzerland.

You guys in the US have such big properties, very jealous as mine would fit in most of your garages :)
