Beatles experts - album question

I bought a copy of 'Hey Jude' for my daughter at a used record store here in Cincinnati yesterday - it's an Apple release, in nice condition, and plays very well....

Except for the fact that it plays the side 2 songs on both sides of the LP (Hey Jude / Old Brown Shoe / Don't Let Me Down / Ballad of John and Yoko)!! The labels are printed Side 1 and Side 2, and the Side 1 label shows the songs that should be there. Also, the labels say 'The Beatles Again' and not 'Hey Jude'.

According to Wikipedia, "Originally, the album was to be named The Beatles Again. Shortly before the record was released, however, the title was changed to Hey Jude in order to promote the inclusion of the top-selling song that led off side two. The name-change occurred after the labels were printed, and an untold number of copies of the album were sold with Apple labels on the vinyl containing the title The Beatles Again."

So it would appear that this pressing is from the original release. But I haven't found any reference anywhere to copies of the album being pressed w/ Side 2 on both sides.

Any Beatles experts out there? Do we have a rarity on our hands? Or should we just return it and get our money back from the record store?

Still have all of my Beatles vinyl from 1964-70. The early stuff came from my sisters and from Beatles VI onward are all mine. My Beatles VI album still has my mom's writing (she wrote my name on the edge of the cover) from when I took it to show-and-tell in 1st grade.

It's cool to say the Stones were better than the Beatles or that the Beatles were overrated. I get that. But I still love Beatles music.

My gut says you have a rarity as it has duplicate pressings but the labels are different for each side. There used to be a vinyl record expert, that would give his opinions of record values, who appeared on Los Angeles FM radio station KLOS years ago. He would know but, unfortunately, I don't know his name. I will try to find out, and maybe someone reading this remembers or knows a similar expert.

Edit: A little research reveals mispressings are not that rare, and sometimes completely different artists are on the two sides. A lot depend on the popularity of the artists, and certainly the Beatles are popular. Take a look at this link: http://collectorsfrenzy.com/details/230913514100/THE_BEATLES__MISPRESSED_ALBUM__DISK_ONE_PLAYS_THE_ SAME_TRACKS_ON_BOTH_SIDES

A friend BITD of mine bought John Lennon's Double Fantasy and it has the same side pressed on both sides too!

I will ask my brother. This is the sort of thing he is liable to know about off the top of his head.

I was looking at my old vinyl collection a few days ago... I think I have a butcher block with the glued over cover.
