motion 06-07-2014 03:36 PM

varmint 06-07-2014 03:36 PM

1965 350 ducati

i need to be talked out of this as i am only just now getting the BMW back together and out of the kitchen, and i don't know how far the girlfriend's patience would last.

LWJ 06-07-2014 03:41 PM

Sculpture!

motion 06-07-2014 03:42 PM

That's why she's a girlfriend. Don't worry about it :D

LWJ 06-07-2014 03:42 PM

Sculpture! Key word here is "girlfriend." Do it.

Chinese proverb: Dead long time.

That's my excuse for doing all kinds of things.

gonna be a week before i can get up to anchorage. making arrangements to see.

this belongs in the "hoarding projects for retirement" thread.

scottmandue 06-07-2014 04:40 PM

You can keep it in my garage!!!!

5String43 06-07-2014 04:44 PM

Duck 350 indeed. Do it! Now! Looks a lot like my old race bike. Except mine had serious brakes and a high-zoot paint job.

I got into a purge mode a few years back, and I wish I had not been so thorough now.

If the price is right, get it if storage isn't going to be a real inconvenience.

ErVikingo 06-08-2014 03:43 AM

Awesome. You got our approval!

Gogar 06-08-2014 09:13 AM

That's a total clean it up and put it in the house bike!

motion 06-08-2014 09:21 AM

I'm guessing somewhere in the $4K=$5K range? That bike will do nothing but appreciate, so its just fine to let it sit around until you can get to it :)

sc_rufctr 06-08-2014 09:50 AM

Can you afford it?

Do you want it?

If yes to both, just buy it and store it properly. It can wait until you get to it but it doesn't look all that bad as it is.
