Talking Post Pics of Father's Day Gifts!!

This from my daughter in NYC. Is this better than a new necktie or what?

Wife thought this would be a good idea so Dad could do his car stuff without having to share the I-Pad with Mom... Love how Mrs. Saucy thinks

My is son living with me after graduation before he reports to Benning in October for Infantry BOLC. We're headed to a vintage motorcycle show at the Art Museum after breakfast with my buddies on Saturday as part of a local father's day celebration. This time with him is my gift.

His graduation. My ex and I after pinning his bars on him.

My dad's getting a phone call. I stopped buying him things years ago, because there's really nothing he needs/wants at this point that he doesn't already have, and he's told us as much. I'm the same way; anything I want, I go buy. But my kids usually get me something small, and I act excited about it because they're young and it makes them feel special. The smiles on their faces when I act excited about whatever they've given me is my real gift, though.

Wife and Son bought me a NEST thermostat. Installed and programmed to my iPhone in less than an hour. Pretty cool geeky gift.

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
No strange women showed up at the door with any little Gogars. It was a gift of sorts.

NICE!

Nothing makes Dad(and Mom) prouder than children excelling towards some higher purpose in life.

My daughter surprised me by driving up from San Diego. She was on the phone with her Mom when she came to the front door. We had no idea she was coming.
Not to be out done, my son called from Japan where he's on a business trip.
I've got great kids.

I called my dad and told him I'd take him trout fishing next time he comes out. He was playing with the crane truck he bought on Saturday so I let him get back to playing with his new toy. He's hard to shop for because he buys all his own toys.
