9 x 944's, 3000 miles in 3 days for charity.

This had a bit of Porsche content so I thought I'd post it on here as some may be interested. A group of friends of mine left yesterday on a charity rally with the intention of driving 9 Porsche 944's the 3000 miles from southern England to Nordkapp, the most northerly point of Norway to arrive in time for the summer solstice on saturday. They are driving via Tallin, Estonia and taking the ferry to Helsinki. The cars had to cost less than GBP 1100 ( around $1800). 2 drivers per car. Not much time for sightseeing or even comfort breaks.

Cool idea! A very top gear inspired challenge. We should do something like that here in the US. All meet in LA with a budget
