Anyone going to Thompson Speedway on Saturday?
Saturday marks the first day vintage race cars will hit the newly restored track in Thompson, CT. Supposed to be about 200 cars showing up. Weather looks great.
Good quadcopter video:

Shaun,
When I first saw this post, I thought that it could make for a fun day. Then, I remembered that Route 84 is closed, yes completely closed all weekend around Exit 30. They are replacing both overpass bridges over a local road. With the detours, it bumps a 2 hour drive to 3+ hours. Maybe next time. |

Another time Paul. CT has been doing a ton of work on highways for years, 91/95 interchange is coming along nicely but taking forever.

Beautiful day today. I got there just in time for the 911s, Camaros, Mustangs and Corvettes to run a few laps before ending their session. The sound was intoxicating, wish I could have taken some video.

The Hawk vintage races at Road America are coming right up. It is a pretty cool event!
