My neighbors, what they have to put up with from the guy next door. Noisy car - the sound travels trough walls and he leaves it idling outside while he goes back to the house to get something he's forgotten. After he's been drinking he stands out on the lawn watering it. Swearing yelling when there is some dispute with someone out on the street. Dogs barking, Chainsaws firewood out on the footpath and it's a nice quiet suburban neighborhood. Stares, I mean stares like a salivating idiot at the other neighbor's daughter who is an 18 year ols blonde olympic swimmer. The list goes on.

Across the street - great couple with grown kids, frequently invite us over for beer and BBQ (he's an amazing cook). Next to them, another great couple with grown kids, he's a car nut and has an Evora. Other side is a middle eastern family, husband and wife were convicted of felony charges of defrauding the food stamp system and spent time in federal prison. They also have the worst house in the neighborhood and let their young kids roam, but I digress.....

Next door on one side is for sale, previous was a great couple that we used to have drinks with. Other side is a family with royal b!t#h wife and a mute husband, we basically don't talk to them. I wish I lived in the country.

It's no better in the country Matt, you are just more spread out. My folks have 10 acres, but in the last 5-6 years have had 5 house put in on their mile stretch of road. The neighbor to the south is OK, other than keeping a golf course lawn in the country and having a house in a spot that ruins the scenic vista. ;)

Neighbor directly across has been there forever, and is a bit crazy/senile. House is in terrible shape, but mostly blocked by trees. We heard from a local HVAC guy that went under the house to fix a freon leak that a sewer line is disconnected and there is a mtn of **** under the house...

To the north of him they put a trailer house, but did it nice with a pipe fence etc. we got along with them, they bought dad's old mule, etc. however other neighbors have complained of him not using a good enough backstop for shooting and a few other gun related things. Early this year he shot at the origin or to his norths dog, and generally in the direction of that neighbors daughter. Now the shooter is a felon, no guns, and passed off and selling the place...

They have more farther north, but those flogs keep to themselves.

Our neighbors are all pretty nice. The folks to our east are the ones with the occasional mystery u-haul. He keeps his house looking nice. My property is much wider than the other lots. Folks across the street east are new and very quiet. The couple that moved out and sold them the house moved off to Nebraska. We really miss them. We had keys to each others house and did the watch the house routines when on vacation. The folks across the street to the west have been there since the neighborhood was put in. They recently put in a backyard pool and have invited us over for for BBQ and swimming. No one to the west of us because we are on the corner lot.

The folks behind us to the west are pretty quiet. We met them when they first moved in. The keep the trees trimmed and the yard mowed. The folks right behind us are great. We go out to dinner a few times a year with them. We have had them over for home made ice cream.

Overall a great neighborhood. I love it the most because I have my oversize 3 car garage with a bathroom in the garage. And on my commute to work I regularly go three miles before I see another car on the road. I may see deer but the traffic is very light.

Did you have fun ?
