Code logic or illogic....
 

So I am trying to sell my 2001 Boxster and since I have been to my indy shop the CEL light has extinguished.CEL is code P1341. Had an interested buyer read the codes and nothing came up. So the question is will the code come up again? Did the indy shop "fix" the problem when they did the diagnostics? Is it common the cel goes off and comes back days later?

My Mazda 3 throws a CEL every winter if it gets too cold.

Coolant temp too low for operation or some crap like that.

I ignore it now and it goes away.

Possible your shop saw whatever code it was and that it was benign and cleared it.

It just has not run the monitor for that code yet. It will probably come back on after a hundred miles or so.
