Windows/Explorer browser help...

Too damn lazy to research (right now), so I'll throw this out here for a quick answer :D

Just discovered that I can barely type a post without my curser jumping all over the place (like two words/sentences back), and it's happened 'bout a dozen times in this post alone . Royal PITA...what setting do I need to change to make it stop? Thanks!!!

Are you using a laptop or a desktop with a normal keyboard?

The touchpad on a laptop can cause the cursor to move around. Try to plug in a regular keyboard and see if the problem goes away.

Had the same problem about half a year ago.
It went away with updates, I guess.

I've seen it before too. Pretty sure this is a "new" feature of IE 11 which was installed over the weekend. It's happened 8-10 times on this reply too :(. Gotta run for now...if no one has a "easy fix" via settings, then I'll restore to original image later on...PITA.

sounds like a hardware problem.

If you're on a laptop, sounds like your thumbs are hitting the mouse pad as you type, and moving your entry to where the cursor is "resting." I do it all the time, as my thumbs "float" while I type, and occasionally strike down on the pad.

Easiest fix is to disable the mouse pad.

I had a similar issue with my pc.

Here is the fix... And I do like using IE.

Thanks all! Seems as if the OS must have become corrupted with recent updates. Problem wasn't isolated to IE, and a system restore from a week or so ago failed, so I restored to the "factory image" and all is well now. That's no biggie for me...it's an older HP netbook that I keep "lean & mean" and restore to factory settings on occasion anyways. Yeah, I realize Windoze and IE suck...it's like picking up a #2 pencil though...I don't care as long as it writes...this morning was the first time it wouldn't do that properly :D.
