30 Y/O Man Evicted by Parents near Syracuse

Just saw this on the noon news. Parents actually had to take their son to court to get him to leave home. I'm speechless. He has been there 8 years and they have tried 5 times in the recent months to get him to leave. He asked the judge for 6 more months which was denied.

Close to home with me. My 49 y/o BIL just left home after 6 or so years (this was not he first time living with parents). Now the in-laws have a grandson living there. He was suppose be there for a short period to get his sh$t together. Well now that he has it together he is not in any hurry to leave. Love my in-laws to death and it breaks my heart that these two morons have done this to them BUT they have allowed it.

I am blown away by the entitlement of this loser. And he’s still at it!

Classic example of a perma-stoner. All that dude wants to do is smoke weed and eat Cheetos. I have a couple high school friends who are the same.

I respect the people living in tents in my city far more than this lump of schit. Although they may just have had stronger parents.

Sorry I missed your thread earlier. I was so shocked when I saw this on the news today that I just had to post it.

I've never seen someone get so tongue tied by a CNN reporter. His response to whether he has a job or not is alarming. Does not, wait yes he has a business.

I'm sure that the parents are at their wits end. It takes a lot to sue someone, especially a family member.

My kids ever pull this crap and they will find their stuff on the front lawn.

I watched the first 5 minutes, and the overwhelming urge to punch this jitbag in the face made me stop, and it literally scares me that people like this exist.

Here is move-out video. Two things struck me: 1. he has money for a cell phone (what are the chances he is on the parent's family plan?). 2. He talks about having a kid (son)

SOMEONE PROCREATED WITH THIS LOSER BTW: don't mind the plummer crack

I found this 'comedy' duo on Viceland channel discussing the situation. Pretty funny stuff:

He was just being a petty little beyotch. "if they had given me 6 months, it wouldn't have cost them all of this extra money."

Wow, what a loser

Yeah, his concern was touching. Of course, they gave him $1100 to move out months ago and he spent the money without doing anything, so saving them money is a new thing.

Another forum I frequent has a poster saying it should be illegal to kick your children out at any age because - and you knew this was coming - "they didn't ask to be born."

Rapprochement crisis.
This dude failed at successfully navigating the Separation/Individuation phase of life.
As someone said: ..."man-child"...aka a big fk'n self-indulged baby.
I've met people like him...disgusting bags of skin.
.
According to Mahler, successful completion of the developmental stages in the first few years of life results in separation and individuation. Separation refers to an internal process of mental separation from the mother, while individuation refers to a developing self concept.
.
Separation-Individuation stage: (5-24 months) In this final stage a significant transition occurs in two overlapping realms. In separation, the infant develops an understanding of boundaries of the self, and thus the mother is increasingly viewed as an individual. Meanwhile, individuation marks the development of a sense of self.
.
Rapprochement: (14-24 months) At this point the child’s desire to achieve independence is marred by a fear of abandonment. Therefore, the child seeks to maintain proximity to the caretaker while engaging in exploration. This stage is essential to the development of a stable sense of self.
