New MS Outlook security program rant
 

Anyone else getting forced by MS outlook to open a second email account in order to have a security code sent to a different email address?
I understand they want to improve security but their program is a POS. During a chat with their support, I told him that I didn't want open another email that I don't use just for their security program. I told him I'd never remember the account or password in the future. He told me to write down the account information. WTF, isn't that #1 in account don't do's?

I can set "outlooksucks@itsjustcrap.com" to forward to whatever email address you want... :)

ah, you must be talking about Outlook.com cloud accounts. --not Outlook (as a part of MS Office) Yeah, G-mail, outlook... they all want lots of cross references on people (cell#'s). It's as if they are under the command of the NSA. ....for your safety, of course.
