2010 MacBook problem
 

Anyone ever seen this type of screen failure. It fades in and out sporadically. Has happened a few times in the last 24 hours. It is a 13" Macbook white plastic cover model from mid 2010? Would it be a video card failure of possibly something to do with HD failure? Sorry for the poor pic but you get the idea. Thanks for any guidance.

The built in display and external source run off the same GPU.

Hook up an external monitor and see what you get.

If it does not happen with the external then screen is suspect or but less likely the inverter.
