Which one of you created this?
A PPOT member must have created this video.

My coworker shared this morning. Seriously good stuff. The same video is out there with a slightly different edit. There's a second guy in the frame at the beginning and end.
|
that's awesome. I wish I had seen that years ago.
|
NICE!
Thanks for posting Red Baron! |
That is freaking awesome. And so true.

OMG!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !

Funny. But if you really want to break it down into fine science, you need look no further than Ladder Theory
The Ladder Theory |
We should get Lubemaster to create a series of videos for us like this!
|
Excellent.

Is he wearing a sidearm?
|
This video was great, but it's really just a derivative of this prior work and it leaves out the intelligence factor.

2. It is difficult to get left-handed holsters. I'm a lefty. Trust me, it is difficult. 3. His cell phone holster may be on his left side. 4. Poser. |

1. Shooting two-handed - dominant hand. 2. Shooting one-handed - dominant hand. 3. Shooting two-handed - non-dominant hand. 4. Shooting one-handed - non-dominant hand. This is especially true if your focus is home defense. You may not be able to position yourself in a location where you can defend yourself and be able to aquire a target using the two-handed dominant hand method. That said, it still doesn't make sense why the man in the video would have a RH holster if he is left-hand dominant, as evidenced by his writing. It could have been a prop as a means of indicating that he's prepared if a crazy-level-10 woman happens across his video. I bet 99% of the people that have seen that video noticed the holster. However, only on Pelican do you find a discussion about how the holster does not match the handed-ness of the wearer! Aint Pelican grand!?! -Z |
Very nice, thanks for posting.

Here's the full original YouTube post. The guy is a lawyer in middle Tennessee and represents James Yeager (the other guy in the video) among others. Watch to the end for the "Male" matrix. |

It's not difficult to determine which eye is dominant. Easiest way is simply to close each of them (one at a time) and look at things with just that eye. Your dominant eye will naturally want to stay open, and kinda "fight" you.
I've never really been a pistol shooter. For rifles, we kept both eyes open to scan for targets; once target was acquired, close weak eye for proper sight picture. In Basic training, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Finally, a Drill Sergeant tested my eye dominance. Told me to shoot left handed, and I've qualified Expert ever since. |

my favorite part is under objections "this is just satire right?" his answer "nothing is just satire" or this one: Criticism: In the section on ladder disparity you make reference to the 'hypotenuse.' The ladders however, are metaphorical constructs, and are not a defined distance apart from each other so this term is misleading. Answer: It seems that way at first, but that's because you have failed to understand the topology of Ladder Space, which should of course be so obvious that a formal proof is not required. Idiot. |
also, before taking any mans opinion of women seriously, we have to see his resume. up to an including his current.
|
That was soooo funny because it is so true!!!
|
Spot on. Particularly the male matrix.
|
If you hadn't already lost it, I would flag you for a serious man-card violation.
