Chrysler product? Left hand thread nuts have a little notch in the center of each flat so you don't confuse them with the RHT nuts.

yep my 928 had the alloy lugs. DO NOT use impact to tighten.

The worst is when those same guys get a job installing IT server racks. Nothing like a server rack full of stripped screws.

The problem with over-tightening lug nuts is that you can warp the hub or wheel.

I never let guys with air wrenches put the wheels on my 911.

You should see the cheater bar I use to replace the axle nut on my field disc. The wrench is 1" drive.

YOU ARE A MECHANIC FRED, SURELY YOU HAVE HAD TO DRILL OFF THE CONICAL BASE OF a PORSCHE LUG NUT BEFORE.

I know I have. ;)

If you got them all off without having to drill them out around the stud, consider it a good day. SmileWavy

Yep, and not just on p cars, on all sorts of other stuff. My comment was tounge in cheek of course. I deal with stripped. broken , stuck lug nuts, almost on a daily basis.
