First show, 1st place and seats to boot!
 

What a great day! It started off as a light steady rain but we knew it was going to clear up. I didn't have a race today and my wife took the day off so we could show "Fiona" off at Captree (local car show every Sunday). We found out Friday midday about a car show and swap meet in the local paper at the airport instead and she says...we're in! Well....our first show....1st place....and picked up very good condition Reverie carbon race seats....$40.00...FOR THE PAIR!!!! Oh happy day!!!
Retail seems to start at $1,046.00 each for single wall, and $1,500.00 for double walled. Can this be right? Anyone familiar with these seats? Pics show light dirt but the seats wiped down perfect! Not a scratch!

Reverie makes some beautiful carbon fiber seats and steering wheels. Not terribly popular in the US, but whomever sold them to you didn't know what they had.

The funniest thing about the seats...apparently a guy offered $30.00 right before me and wouldn't pay any more! I asked the seller twice...you want $40.00 for the pair? he said yes, the $30.00 guy came back, offered $30.00 AGAIN...I paid him $40.00 on the spot and took them away!

Don't know WHAT I'm gonna do with the seats! Part of me wants to put it in my '73 3.0CS Batmoblie tribute/recreation.....or do I pull my Corbeau's out of the Volvo and just order pads for comfort. They cleaned up brand new!!!

I was going to get the corbeau's refinished but now might not have to. Installing 4spd w/overdrive in the Volvo this week and twin Mikuni carb kit to kick it up a little. Carbon seats might be fun!!

Thoughts? Comments....ideas....btw...another car is not an option!(even though I've got a few extra bmw engines, wheels and trannys in the garage) 2002?
