Crocs are on sale right now.......

Crocs

I just placed an order for a bunch of sandals and shoes.

I had already worn the specific styles I ordered so it was a no-brainer to buy more given the sale price.

I learned a long time ago when you find a great flip-flop...and you can get them on sale....buy a whole bunch of them for future use. I did this a few years ago with their Ocean Minded "Seaweed" style and am only now on the last pair. It was a really great style and is now NLA.

I'm still recovering from a little PF in my feet so wearing the right footwear is a big deal for me - especially since I'm on my feet so much with my line of work.

FYI: I bought the Croc Band Flip, the Duck Commander Realtree clog, and the Tideline Sport Canvas shoe (the latter I have not tried yet - the others I have and they are very comfy).

Crocs will take back anything you don't want so it's not a huge risk to buy online. Just read the reviews if you are unsure of a certain style.

Enjoy!

Hey last time I looked no one is forcing you "real men" to buy them....lol.

I've been comfortable in my own skin for a long time.

There are many different croc styles including mens and womens - and the ones I wear provide function and form!

I don't care for that sort of shoe, but they generally can be autoclaved

I had never even tried a pair until I developed PF a few years ago.

My feet hurt so much I had to explore various options.

Out of curiosity I tried a pair - and the rest is history.

I can tell you these Crocs have allowed me to function again. My PF is not as bad today as it once was.

They're also very practical - when I do my irrigation work they can get soaked and it's no big deal - they dry off very quickly.

Last week I did a landscape job for a new pool with travertine deck - I kicked off my crocs whenever I had to walk across the travertine - thus eliminating any staining to the client's deck.

I live on a barrier island in Florida. It's a laid back environment. We're a flip flop community. Crocs are part of the life style here.

It's like living in a Jimmy Buffett song every day of your life!

Baz,

They just closed 75 retail stores and I think they have or soon will be filing for bankruptcy protection.

Stock up now, or better yet, wait for the fire sale.

Hope all is well,
Matt

Hey Matt - wow thanks for the head's up - maybe that's why they are being discounted! I just found this article:
Financial trouble for maker of Crocs sends shockwaves across the city - NY Daily News

It looks like they are just down sizing. I just bought a boat load last night so I'm set for a while.

Thanks again for the head's up - always good to hear from you - be well!

Good one, mreid.

Baz, fwiw, my wife tried crocs (for recent PF) didn't like them. She's been buying Aveo brand from The Walking Company. Where they fit, not just the shoe size, but fit the shoe bed to the bottom contours (of your feet) via a computer and a pressure mat /map.

The take-away here is that the shoe industry will become more and more custom for you needs.

I live on an island as well. Flip flops are uniform, as are shorts.
I wear Rainbows. Very nearly year-round.

Crocs=birth control shoes

I picked up a pair of these Sanuk yoga mat slippers this weekend in Honolulu. Super comfy and no BC factor.
