Hey Kyle, I see that Nostatic has "cleaned up" that other thread, and despite what was in there, "your life is NOT effed forever" man. I know you've been going through some tough times, and have done "some things" to attempt to get a handle (like not drinking anymore). It isn't working...I seriously hope you seek some professional counseling and get a handle on your "issues". NO ONE likes to see a long time Pelican "melt down" like you have in recent years imo, and I hope you find yourself in a "better place" on down the road. Be well and so long my Pelican "friend"....

It can take a year to a year and a half for the brain to adjust to life without alcohol. A lot of guys quit drinking and think they don't need AA because they aren't drinking. Quitting is just the beginning of a road to a Great Life. It helps if you hang with people who have been down the road you are traveling on.
